I've gotten pretty good at removing prints using my method by now, and it's just a part of the process for me, but I'm wondering what is different for you. If I pushed hard enough with a finger to dislodge the print, it would break somewhere, leaving me with half of the print on the floor and the other half still stuck to the glass. I have tried letting the glass cool to room temperature, putting the stuck print in the refrigerator, the freezer, and even out in the snow, and still have to use tools to get them off of the PEI sheet. It doesn't matter if the glass is hot or cold, the prints need 'persuasion' to remove them. It is so much cleaner and easier to print with than the hairspray I was using, but I have to literally chisel the prints off of it with a putty knife and hammer. I use a PEI sheet on borosilicate glass and it has really helped with ABS curling. Just wondering about the "push off with a finger" part. I increased it to 200 and it seems fine now (still testing the settings). The First Layer settings helped even more.
I invested in Simplify 3D which helped a lot with the standad settings. Thanks a lot for all the helpful hints: Leveling, clue all the things did not work, or partially only. I assume it's not an adhesion problem and most probably not at setting problem (since it's the demo model)Īny further tips/hints, what the root cause could be?.it's not a problem, that relates to the extruder or filament type.I even can reproduce the effect of the 10 initial cm on both extruders and different filament (PLA/ABS), the point of failure is exatly on the same point. After the intial 10 cm (the extruder moved 5 cm on x-axis, then 5 cm on the y axis, the filament does not stick anymore, exactly where the extruder changes the direction (moving x/y axis). The prints (test model) starts and the inital 10 cm of the prints seems to stick very well.
I tried many many prints, but I don't get more or less no print out of my brand new printer (creator pro, dual)
